IDRC 2002-2007 Employee Awareness Campaign

For the International Development Research Centre (IDRC), we developed an Employee Awareness campaign to help promote awareness of what IDRC does and the many areas in which IDRC is involved, so that employees could become better ambassadors for the Centre’s work. The campaign included a new employee intranet site, posters, flash show, desktop start-up screens, banner ads, CDs and promotional giveaways. The site was so successful at explaining what IDRC does and why it matters, its content was also featured on the IDRC external website.

We also created a number of materials for other IDRC programs, which included producing beautifully illustrated, easy-to-read InfoBooks for the Acacia and Connectively Africa programs, as well as answering the board of directors’ challenge to more easily and clearly explain what these programs did. We created a graphic look and feel, as well as advertising and a PowerPoint show to spotlight the IDRC Speaker Series, ads for the 2005 G8 meeting (using the look and feel developed for Connectively Africa, the 3rd World Urban Forum), and posters and advertising for TEHIP (Tanzania Essential Health Interventions Project).
